DJ Mista Jiggz

(Guest Flava Fridays DJ)

Innovation, Respect and Style are the words that come to mind when describing the musical ability of DJ Mista Jiggz. From clubs to radio to television and with over a decade in the game, Mista Jiggz has built a reputation synonymous with some of the nations most talented.

A native of Toronto, Canada, Jiggz first emerged onto the scene as a house DJ only to soon realize his love for all genres that surround urban music. A well-rounded music lover, Jiggz exploded in the all-ages circuit, headlining parties for over 2,500 people with the infamous TKO sound crew.

Continuing his success with live performances, Mista Jiggz chose to increase his popularity through his notorious mixtape series’, “Evolution” and “Meltdown”, which feature the latest remixes, cuts, dubs, shout-outs and the hottest, freshest beats. Evolution, Meltdown, and TKO were only the beginning, as it would soon lead to future work with Soul Shock Entertainment – clearly one of Toronto’s most elite entertainment companies. With Soul Shock, Jiggz could be found spinning the biggest parties, at the most exclusive clubs: Warehouse, Fusion Lounge, Granite Lounge, Power Bar, The Docks, and the legendary Guvernment nightclub.

Toronto had merely proven to be the tip of the iceberg, and with Clymaxxx Entertainment, Jiggz began tearing up the University circuit by making regular appearances at clubs and massive events across Ontario. The mayhem continued when Jiggz was given the opportunity to open in concert for various artists including Beenie Man, Brassmunk and D12.

Still not satisfied and always wanting more, Jiggz jumped off Canadian soil only to land on his first international tour. This would definitely not be his last. Mista Jiggz’ tour of Japan was so well received that it has since led to multiple appearances at Spyral nightclub in Osaka which was easily the true highlight of his career, or so he thought. Jiggz has since experienced further success with tours of the U.S. and the Caribbean, which amounted to some memorable performances at the world renowned and very taboo Hedonism III in Jamaica.

A DJ that has pleased audiences throughout the world with his mixtapes and live appearances; Mista Jiggz yearns to continue doing what he loves and adding flavor to the ears of audiences everywhere. Keep your eyes peeled for Mista Jiggz’ live mixes coming to a city near you and stay tuned for the long awaited releases of the next “Evolution” and “Meltdown” mixtapes, courtesy of Brown Eyes Entertainment.
